I've contributed to hundreds of recording projects, movies and television shows, and live concerts, shows and events in my career as a guitarist, composer, arranger, songwriter, music contractor, producer and music supervisor. In any situation from a live show to a webinar, I can give you a sweet acoustic guitar solo or construct an entire orchestra from samples, and everything in between.
Baileyville Studios runs on Apple Logic, and I'm familiar with all the other popular tools as well - Pro Tools, Cubase/Nuendo, Reason, etc. I'm available to produce your project or as a guitarist/arranger/composer for hire. I have a vast collection of loops and samples so building a track from scratch is easy. And, as an established music contractor, the best players in town are always available to me as well. A great selection of vintage and modern guitars, amps, mics and outboard processors helps me recreate the classic sounds of the past or invent new ones just for your project.
I'm available to produce on a freelance basis as well. I have great relationships with studios throughout the SoCal area as well as in Nashville, Chicago, Vancouver, New Orleans and elsewhere. My credits range from country superstar Clint Black (for NBC's Las Vegas) to L.A. indie band the Dancehall Pimps.
As a performing guitarist, I can most often be found playing jazz, blues, roots-based rock, or some combination of all these. I have a working duo, trio and quartet and I appear frequently with groups led by others. Local venues include Lucille's BBQ, where my blues duo is featured monthly in various L.A. and O.C. locations, The Oyster House Saloon in Studio City where I do a monthly eclectic show with my trio and special guests, as well as Catalina's Jazz Bar and Grill, L.A.'s foremost jazz venue; the world-famous Lighthouse Cafe in Redondo Beach; Vitello's jazz restaurant in Studio City; Typhoon in Santa Monica, redwhite+bluezz in Pasadena, and more.
